What’s New in MPX | January 2026 Update
MPX framework update is here, and it is one of our most substantial releases to date.
Between 27th December 2025 and 26th January 2026, we delivered Version 3.26.1.2, with over 320 improvements across the MPX Core framework. This update focuses on strengthening the platform, expanding capabilities and making everyday workflows smoother across operations, fulfilment and reporting.
This month’s updates focus on three key areas:
platform security improvements to strengthen protection across the platform
performance upgrades that keep MPX fast and responsive at scale
major operational enhancement,s including multi-facility fulfilment
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in MPX and how it benefits your business.
🔐 Stronger platform security improvements
Security is never a one-off task. We continuously invest in it to keep your business protected as risks evolve. This month, we delivered over 75 targeted security enhancements designed to reinforce protection across every layer of MPX.
What’s new:
Advanced request validation to verify the authenticity of actions
More precise access controls for external service connections
Enhanced authentication with stronger session management
Wider input validation and integrity checks across core components
Business impact: Stronger platform security means lower risk for your business, fewer vulnerabilities and more confidence when expanding integrations. It helps protect customer data, user accounts and the workflows your team relies on every day.
🛠️ Operational enhancements across MPX
Alongside the major new capabilities, we have improved everyday workflows across inventory, sales and fulfilment.
What’s new:
Granular inventory permissions for update and delete controls
Listview enhancements, including role-based filtering and more fields in views
Quote references linking directly to projects for better traceability
Additional payment method options on pro forma invoices
Streamlined courier booking with expanded tracking reference support
Business impact: These enhancements help teams move faster, make fewer mistakes and maintain clearer accountability across workflows. Over time, they reduce operational friction and create a smoother experience for both admin teams and warehouse teams.
🏬 Multi-facility fulfilment built for scale
One of the biggest improvements in this MPX framework update is full support for multi-facility fulfilment.
If you operate multiple warehouses, distribution centres, or third-party logistics partners, MPX can now manage fulfilment across multiple facilities from a single platform.
What’s new:
Intelligent order routing based on sales channel and delivery destination
Facility level configuration ready for 3PL workflows
Flexible fulfilment stages, including skipping packing or bypassing courier booking
Facility-based visibility across picking requests, dispatch notes and shipments
Seamless backfill linking existing orders and inventory to facilities
We also introduced improvements to picking workflows, including better status filtering, user assignment tracking and improved notifications.
Business impact: multi-facility fulfilment makes it easier to scale operations without adding complexity. You gain better control, clearer visibility and smoother order flow across multiple locations, whether they are internal warehouses or 3PL partners.
🔑 Centralised credential management with KeyChain
Managing third-party credentials across different services can be messy, especially when multiple environments or accounts are involved. The new KeyChain component provides a secure, central hub for third-party credentials across MPX.
What’s new:
Store credentials and authentication tokens in one secure location
Switch between credential sets for different environments and accounts
Built-in proxy support, helping avoid hardcoded credentials
Business impact: Cleaner credential management reduces admin time and lowers risk. It also makes it easier to introduce new services and integrations without creating security gaps or messy setup work.
📤 Automated report delivery via secure file transfer
Report Builder now supports scheduled secure file transfers, helping you automate report distribution to clients, partners or other systems.
What’s new:
Multiple secure transfer accounts supported
Scheduled report delivery for any report
Support for standard and encrypted transfer protocols
Business impact: Reduce manual reporting and ensure information flows reliably. Your team spends less time exporting and uploading files, while stakeholders get the reports they need automatically and on time.
👥 Key Contacts for smarter relationship management
We have introduced a new Key Contacts component to help you identify and manage your most important relationships, with key information accessible directly in your workflows.
What’s new:
A dedicated way to capture and manage key contacts
Easier visibility of the people that matter most to your operation
Business impact: Better contact visibility helps teams respond faster, reduce delays and improve collaboration across sales, service and accounts. It also makes it easier to keep vital relationship information consistent across the platform.
☁️ Cloud-ready file storage integration
As your business grows, so do your file storage requirements. This month’s update expands file asset storage options with a new cloud storage integration.
What’s new:
Scalable cloud file storage alongside existing solutions
Cost-effective storage support for growing environments
Business impact: More flexibility and fewer storage headaches. You can scale safely without worrying about bottlenecks, while keeping your platform organised and future-ready.
📩 Email retention controls for compliance
For organisations with compliance, audit and record-keeping requirements, MPX now includes new tools to permanently retain important emails.
What’s new:
Flag important emails for permanent retention
Preserve critical communications for compliance and audit needs
Business impact: You reduce the risk of losing key communications and strengthen audit readiness. This helps keep important evidence and operational context accessible when it matters most.
⚡ Performance improvements you will notice
We have invested in targeted performance upgrades to keep MPX responsive as data volumes increase and workloads scale.
What’s new:
Sales acceptance validation now runs in batches for faster bulk processing
Faster data retrieval across Users, Email, Registry, Notifications and Cost Journal
Snappier conversation loading through improved caching
Faster profile image loading through smarter browser resource handling
Business impact: Faster workflows help teams stay productive during busy periods. It reduces time wasted waiting for screens to load, improves user experience and supports higher operational volume without slowdown.
🧱 Platform compatibility and future readiness
MPX is now fully compatible with the latest server environments and runtime standards, helping you stay modern without disruption.
What we’ve delivered:
Support for the latest runtime standards
Resolution of compatibility warnings and deprecations
Improved forward compatibility with upcoming platform versions
Business impact: This reduces disruption risk from server updates, security patching and infrastructure changes. It also helps protect long term stability, so MPX continues to perform reliably as technology evolves.
